Wellington to Carterton

Daffodil Day 2012
Daffodil Day steam excursion Sunday 9th September 2012.
Steam Incorporated's J1271 will be doing a steam excursion from Wellington to Carterton, then on to Masterton. A short steam trip from Carterton to Masterton and return will be available. At Masterton they will join a steam excursion from Auckland headed by J1250. Both trains will then combine and a steam double header will return to Carterton station to await departure to Wellington. Booking information and more detail will follow later.
Also at Carterton station the same day will be railcar RM31.
